Viewing Area: (Currently Off Limits)
Aside from our Tiny Thumpers (Ages 18 months – 2 1/2 years) recreational program, parents and or guardians are not permitted inside the gym, due to insurance purposes AND for the safety of all of our athletes, staff and coaches. Parents or guardians who wish to stay and watch their child enjoy their class, must do so from our new, spacious upstairs viewing area. Also for the safety of all of our athletes, staff and coaches, parents are not allowed to converse with and or COACH their child from the upstairs viewing area. Doing so can be extremely disruptive, distracting and can cause injuries to all athletes and coaches. We also do not permit outdoor footwear in the viewing area. We also require that you govern yourself and your choice of language accordingly. Please also help us keep our facility a positive environment. Negative comments and or concerns should be kept to yourself.
We do our best to keep our facility nut-free. All participants are asked NOT to bring nuts and nut products into the facility due to risks from allergies in children. We however cannot guarantee a 100% nut free facility at all times.
We are following a strict cleaning and sanitizing regiment in our entire facility and on our equipment in response to the Covid-19 coronavirus pandemic. All mats and other high-touch surfaces are wiped down during classes, as well as in between classes, and throughout the day with hospital-grade, Health Canada authorized and EPA approved gentle solutions for use against the coronavirus. Additionally our facility is sanitized with the same solution nightly via fogging. Hand sanitizer is readily available at numerous sanitizing stations located in and around our facility. We will be checking children’s temperatures upon entering the building. We ask that if you or your child are not feeling well please stay home. If you are exhibiting symptoms of Covid-19 please immediately contact the Thunder Bay District Health Unit. At this time, as per the Thunder Bay District Health Unit’s Mandatory Masks directive, all persons entering our facility must wear a mask or face covering. Athletes will not have to wear a mask during their actual class participation. We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone who is not wearing a mask or face covering. Masks must securely cover your nose, mouth and chin. Don’t have a mask? We do sell masks in our Chalk Shop retail store located in the lobby of the gym. Physical distancing measures are in place and will be followed as required by the most up-to-date provincial public health guidelines. Staggered class times will surely aid in this regard.
Should our facility be forced to shut down due to a government mandated State of Emergency, or any other public health outbreak, classes will be suspended and every effort will be made to resume and or extend the session in order to complete all scheduled classes within our control. If the situation arises that we cannot resume classes we will issues credit for missed classes towards a future session.
